Primary.Health and Homeland Health Specialists Partner to Vaccinate Minnesota’s Frontline Workers and Seniors

MINNEAPOLIS, MN – In one of Minnesota’s largest coordinated vaccination programs, Primary.Health, a software company that manages, streamlines, and automates COVID-19 testing and vaccination programs, and Homeland Health Specialists, a Minnesota-based provider of community vaccination, testing and health screening programs, have been selected to provide COVID-19 vaccinations at more than 20 community vaccine sites across Minnesota for frontline health care workers and Minnesotans over 65 years old.

Roughly a dozen sites will serve health care workers and other frontline personnel, with the remaining sites open to the general public (initially for those 65+). At the sites, Homeland Health Specialists will provide the clinical leadership and nurse vaccinators while Primary.Health will provide user-friendly registration and scheduling, ensure vaccine is equitably distributed, improve the on-site experience, follow up to make sure patients get their second dose, and automate reporting to reduce human error.

“We are proud to support health care workers and our elderly residents with these new mass vaccination sites,” said Abhi Andley, CEO and owner of Homeland Health Specialists. “Our expertise in running efficient COVID-19 testing and vaccination programs means we are well-positioned to assist the State in expanding vaccine administration at scale. Our turnkey solution, in partnership with Primary.Health, will help get all available doses into the arms of those who need it so we can finally stop the spread once and for all.”

“As we’ve seen the logistical challenges of vaccine rollout across the country, our platform has helped government agencies, employers and community groups run streamlined and efficient large-scale testing and vaccination programs across the country,” said Andrew Kobylinksi, CEO and co-founder of Primary.Health. “Watching this disease devastate communities across the globe, we wanted to play a role in battling this pandemic by automating much of the administrative and logistical complexities to ensure success in equitably testing and vaccinating the entire U.S. population.”

Among the first groups to manage mass vaccination programs in Minnesota last December, Primary.Health’s and Homeland Health’s strategic partnership builds off their initial success and is now providing a turnkey solution for other organizations to conduct mass vaccination at scale. Since early in the pandemic, these companies worked together to organize, manage, and run community-wide testing events across Minnesota in partnership with state and local governments, serving institutional settings, veterans’ homes, community-based organizations, and public sites. They are proud to continue their work to stop the spread in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.

Primary.Health launched in March 2020 with a technology solution that powers more than 520 COVID-19 testing sites in 13 states. Their product allows governments, school districts, homeless shelters, and employers to safely reopen through affordable, convenient, and efficient testing and vaccination. Primary’s health equity tools, “no dose wasted” features, and real-time data analytics on take-up rates, demographic breakdowns, and capacity planning will facilitate mass vaccination at a scale that has never been done before in a cost-effective and smooth manner.

Homeland Health Specialists has been providing employer on-site wellness and flu clinic programs for over 19 years and has helped run dozens of COVID-19 testing events across Minnesota since last spring.

With Primary.Health’s HIPAA-compliant platform and Homeland Health’s operational expertise, Minnesotans will be able to reopen schools, reopen the economy, and resume their social lives in the months to come.
